Sushmita Sen was born on November 19, 1975 in Hyderabad. Her father Shubeer Sen is a former Indian Air Force officer and her mother Subhra Sen worked as a fashion artist and jewellery designer. She has one brother Rajeev Sen and a sister Neelam Sen. Sushmita Sen came into limelight when she was crowned the Miss Universe Title in the year 1994. She became the first Indian Miss Universe in the Miss Universe Pageant held in the Philippines and was one of the youngest women to ever win the title. After winning the crown she started her career in the Hindi Film Industry. She made her debut in the movie “Dastak”.
